Our WRAP Empowerment Workshops are made possible by a partnership between Living Expectantly LLC and Rewriting the Ending nonprofit organization. Living Expectantly LLC was formed in 2019 by Ronald Alexander Clark and Dorothy L. Alexander-Clark as a way to give hope and empowerment to those who want to see a positive change in their lives .
Our Purpose
Our mission is to provide solution focused counseling and coaching, that will allow people to effectuate positive change, and strive to become productive / successful leaders. We are committed to inspiring and empowering individuals to exist with intentional purpose.
Our vision is that through coaching, counseling and leadership development, every individual has the potential to experience life’s challenges, and to embrace and sustain recovery.
Meet The Team
PURPOSE
Ron's primary purpose in life is to carry a message of experience, strength, and hope to all that he encounters, as we all strive to build a recovery based community.

RONALD "RON" CLARK
Community Services Manager, Camino Health Center.
Clark joined Camino Health Center in 2021 as their Community Services Manager. He works in the Camino’s Behavioral Health Department, Camino Contigo, as well as Camino University. Ron brings with him a wealth of knowledge and lived experience in both Substance Use Disorder, and Mental Health recovery.
Ron is also a facilitator with the Mecklenburg County Jail Re-entry Program where he teaches Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) to the detained residents (both youth and adult).

He is a member of Alliance Health Care, MCO, Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) where he advocates for services for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, Mental Health Challenges, as well as Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, IDD.
​
Lastly, Ron serves on several local - city/county committees such as Mecklenburg County Continuum of Care Steering Committee and the Lived Experience Advocacy Committee.

Before transitioning to Camino, Clark worked for Cardinal Innovations Healthcare as their Member Engagement Specialists where he educated stakeholders, providers, and members about the myths and facts about people like himself.

Prior to Cardinal, Ron worked as a Specialist of the Displaced Homemaker Program with the Domestic Violence Unit of the Mecklenburg County Women’s Commission, engaging individuals who were in crisis and assisting them with finding employment and career guidance / coaching.

MEMBERSHIPS
Mr. Clark is a member of the North Carolina State NC Strive-Steering Committee, who guide military men and women leaving active duty and connects them with community employment and education.
​
Ron serves on the board of directors of the Charlotte National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) and the board of directors of Roof Above, which serves Charlotte’s unsheltered population.
​
He is a member of Mecklenburg County Homeless Service Network Advocacy committee along with supporting the Mecklenburg County Encampment (Tent City) homeless initiative.

STORY
Dr. Dorothy L. Alexander-Clark, born April 21, 1969 Danville Virginia to Mrs. Mary M. Motley and the late Gene A. Motley; is an ordained minister, teacher, mother and Entrepreneur. She has one son, Fred H. Alexander Jr. and one daughter, Carolyn
Alexander. She is married to Ronald A. Clark, a phenomenal community leader, along with being an advocate and change agent for the Recovery Movement throughout the United States.
