WHAT IS A WRAP WORKSHOP?
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Workshops help us to mold our lives into more of what we want it to become. The workshop creates a toolkit process for anyone who wants to make positive changes in our lives, actions, emotions, and perceptions.
The process developed in this workshop can be used to help us cope with any situation we may face from
physical pain to depression, from panic attacks to diabetes, to substance use to mental health challenges, to the loss of a loved one.

WRAP workshops range anywhere from 16 - 20 hours. The times and days can be adjusted to fit the individual requesting our services. Expect great things in these hours!

WHAT ARE WELLNESS & RECOVERY?
Wellness
We define "wellness" as having purpose, satisfying experiences in work and recreation, meaningful relationships, physical health, a healthy living environment, and experiencing happiness.
Recovery
"Recovery" a positive process of change. This change helps our physical, mental, and emotional health improve, helps us make intentional decisions about our lives, and to work to develop our full potential.
HOW DOES A WRAP WORKSHOP INCREASE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE?
Preparation Before the Fire Starts
Our WRAP workshops increase the quality of life of our participants by making a plan to deal with situations before, during, and after a crisis.
Creating this plan before a crisis happens minimizes our emotions from clouding our decision-making, process. We also learn in WRAP how to identify stressors and triggers as they arrive, and the steps to plan for the best possible outcome.

This plan empowers us to be prepared with challenging situations. Prevention and wellness both minimize our anxiety about the future, and maximize effectiveness in coping with difficult emotions and feelings. This increases our quality of life which will assist us in achieving our own goals and dreams.
Decrease Unwanted & Intrusive Thoughts, Feelings, and Patterns
